The new standard, ISO 8000; defines the characteristics of quality as they are applied to data and identifies how the quality of data can be objectively measured. Unlike many published books on data quality, the standard represents the consensus of international experts who have been in this field for 20+ years.

Developing data requirement statement

Researching and requesting missing data

Developing rules for descriptions.
1:00pm – 4:00pm Practice
Attendees will use the internet and laptop to access the ECCMA certification website to:

Develop an eOTD-i-xml Identification Guide

Create an eOTD-q-xml request for characteristic or reference data
-
Create on eOTD-r-xml reply to a request for data
Qualifications to Receive Certificate
Individual (MDQM™):

Create master data requirement statements as Identification Guides in eOTD-i-xml

Generate queries for master data in eOTD-q-xml

Reply to queries for master data in eOTD-r-xml
Company/Organization (QMDP™):

Send master data in eOTD-r-xml

Generate queries in eOTD-q-xml

Respond to queries using eOTD-r-xml

Develop and publish data requirements in eOTD-i-xml

Validate master data in eOTD-r-xml for compliance with data requirements in eOTD-i-xml
