Taxologic SA Latin America In 1993, the Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires began working on the issue of documentation, when starting a project in the logistics area detected its importance in the operation of the companies. Within that scope went providing solutions focused on structuring information catalog of materials. This allowed companies such as Perez Companc, Techint, Total Austral, ESSO, Pluspetrol, among others, to strongly reduce their provisioning times, reduce their stocks of spares, centralize purchasing and detect a large amount of fixed assets. All this through complete descriptions and homogeneous in a single language for the whole company. With the growth of electronic commerce, the ITBA identified a growing need for structuring information and decides to create a company with the agility and dynamism that the electronic market requires. In 2001, the ITBA contracted for the unification of the catalogs of their companies and suppliers and creates Taxologic, positioning it in the B2B market today.
