Mr. Carnahan is a principal engineer for Rockwell Automation, Advanced Technology. He has worked for Rockwell Automation for over 25 years in various program, project management and systems, product, network-related, electronic catalog and safety standards areas. He has several patents related to industrial automation technologies and applications. Mr. Carnahan is the Chairman of USTAGs for ISO/TC 184 (Automation Systems & Integration) and ISO/TC 184/SC 5 ISO/TC 184/SC 05 "Interoperability, integration, and architectures for enterprise systems and automation applications". He also leads and convenes ISO/TC 184/SC 05/WG 07 "Diagnostic and maintenance applications integration" working group engaged in specification standards for interoperability of diagnostics & production systems (ISO 18435). He is also currently participating as expert in ISO/TC 184/WG 6 (Oil & Gas Interoperability Project), IEC/TC 65/WG 16 (Digital Factory), as well USTAG member for IEC/TC 65, SC65B, and SC65E. Previously, he has also participated in other ISO TC184, IEC, ISA, IEEE committees and working groups. Mr. Carnahan has over 35 years experience working in industrial controls and automation, having previously worked for several companies in motion and automation assignments in different roles ranging from development engineering to project management and holds several patents in automation systems and applications. He has a BSEE from Ohio State University and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Ohio. He is a member of NSPE (National Society for Professional Engineers), IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers), ISA (Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society),Cleveland Engineering Society, and SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). |

Before joining Ariba (Quadrem) Fred spend 15 years in electrical and automotive operations, and 3 years in data cleansing operations. As head of operations for a global power electronics provider, Fred was responsible for design, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, logistics and quality. During his last 2 years Fred took on the role of organization lead for a Canadian wide SAP implementation. Fred joined the data management world in 2000, managing a content cleansing factory producing millions of sku’s per year. |

Mr. Strydom has a Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Pretoria, South Africa, and furthered his studies with a MBL from Unisa. He started his career at Eskom as Maintenance Engineer in the nuclear field. He was member of the nuclear governance body monitoring and controlling all nuclear related activities at Koeberg Power Station where he managed a number of research and development projects on behalf of Eskom. Mr. Strydom continued his career with Starnode and is currently the Operations Director for Starnode. Mr. Strydom is well known in South Africa and the Middle East for his expertise in Master Data Quality mangement. Mr. Strydom is contracted by numerous clients to assist with the establishment of a Master Data Management strategy for their companies. Mr. Strydom is involved with the development of Master Data Quality standards and was one of the initiators and developers of a Master Data standard and methodology for services. Steven Arnett is the chief of the codification services branch at the NATO Support Agency (NSPA) in Capellen, Luxembourg. He retired as chief of the United States Codification Bureau (NCB) at the DLA Logisitcs Information Service (DLIS) in Battle Creek, Michigan, in 2011. Mr. Arnett received a bachelor’s degree in humanities in 1973 from Michigan State University and was granted a master’s degree in English literature from the University of Maine in 1978. |
